Christopher Novais is an entrepreneur, author, leader, strategist, marketer and doer.
During his tenure at Woodbine Entertainment Group, Novais was charged with the ambitious task of reinvigorating its aging customer base. Through strategic partnerships with Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment, Grand Prix Association of Toronto, PepsiCo & Labatt Breweries, he introduced WEG to a new financial resource. Novais was also a driving force behind the launch of other WEG brands, including WEGZ Stadium Bar and Turf Lounge an exclusive restaurant in the heart of Toronto’s financial district.
In 2008, Novais decided to embark on an entrepreneurial venture. With a keen interest in learning and development along with the drive to help individuals and organizations be more successful, he co-founded The Art Of. Their high-impact conferences, customized training programs, curated content, and magazine are all designed to provide unique, engaging and actionable insights form bestselling authors, influential academics, business icons, and preeminent thought leaders. With the aspiration of being a trusted partner and resource for anyone looking to grow, The Art Of has evolved into a dynamic global community that impacts thousands of leaders and their businesses each year.
In September 2016, Novais co-authored his first book "Everyone's An Artist: Or At Least They Should Be" through Harper Collins. Exploring how the habits of successful artists, can help anyone become smarter, faster and better.
Born and raised in Toronto, Novais pursued an honours degree in Marketing at York University and earned a spot on Marketing Magazines “One to Watch” list of young marketing professionals poised to become the industry’s next generation of leaders. He is a member of the Toronto Board of Trade, Canadian Marketing Association and has volunteered his time to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, United Way and the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
