Join us in our efforts!
The Foundation seeks to involve as many people as possible, with opportunities as a Member, Friend, Sponsor or Partner. Some people will want to be very active in the goals of the group, and can contribute their talents to expanding and building the organization. Others may have an interest in one or two areas, but wish to participate in Foundation events. Organizations may want to lend support, or seek help from our membership.
To meet these needs, the Foundation has established these four basic levels of involvement with the EDAF:
- First, it networks you with like-minded individuals who understand the need to reach out and help those around them. That may sound simple, but in the fast-paced, high pressure society we live in, these qualities in an individual are often hard to identify without getting to know someone in-depth.
- Second, membership is kept informed of events and partnerships that the Foundation establishes. When an opportunity addressing your interests arises, the EDAF can make you aware of it.
- Third, you can actively help develop the Foundation, and take pride in helping us reach our goals.
Membership in The EveryDay Angels Foundation requires that you believe in being part of the solution, not the problem! The problem you choose to tackle is totally yours, but we're here to help support you in your efforts. Membership does not involve "buying in" to every goal or idea we express, just acting on those that you feel strongly about.
Membership brings several benefits.

You may have an interest in participating in some Foundation events, but feel you don't have the time to dedicate to becoming a member. Possibly you just simply aren't a "joiner". Well, the Foundation welcomes you as a valued friend, and hopes to see you at as many events as possible, and even more importantly, wants you to get involved in a cause that you believe in.
Many performing artists have lent their support to the Foundation and its mission.
The Foundation funds itself primarily through donations and grants. Our one-time membership fee offsets the costs of communicating with members, but covers little of our operating expense. As a volunteer promoting organization, we prefer to focus our efforts on developing volunteers, not fundraising by members.
We appreciate support from corporations, institutions and private individuals who see value in our goals, and the results from our work. If you are interested in providing monetary support, whether as a one time donation or continuing sponsorship, please contact the Board of Directors. We also seek sponsors to provide professional services (ie, office support), equipment (ie, supplies, event materials) and support at events (ie, refreshments, dumpsters for cleanups).
Volunteerism has a long history in the United States, and many fine organizations exist to adress many diverse needs. Cooperation between organizations often works extremely well, with results beyond what either group could have hoped to achieve. The EveryDay Angels Foundation operates on the principle of providing aid where it is needed, and addressing a sufficient number of areas to provide an area of interest for practically everyone. The majority of events we promote are those of other organizations.
The Foundation also attempts to provide access and education to those wishing to become active in their communities. This is done through this web site, one-on-one development by our members and friends, and other promotions.
Of course, your involvement may include many, and possibly all, of these areas. The Foundation's primary goal is to get people involved, whether it be through our resources or any other worthy organization or cause you value!
