Do you remember your first pet? Whether it was a dog or a cat, or even a potbellied pig, wasn't the feeling of love and warmth great? Now imagine if that pet had not only provided you with a childhood companion, but had given your family the means to live a better life. Wouldn't it be great to be able to give that opportunity to another family?

How about 30 families?

Our newest partner, Heifer International, specializes in raising, transporting and delivering farm animals to familles around the world. From bees to llamas, Heifer has been changing the world one family (and one animal) at a time for more than 50 years. In addition to raising quality livestock, Heifer provides safe transport so that the animals will arrive in good health.

As important as the gift of the animals is, the gift would lose its value if the families did not know how to care for it. Realizing this fact, Heifer teaches each receiving family how to care for the animals so that they can grow an income for generations. Each recipient of Heifer animals agrees that the offspring of their animals will be given freely to other members of their community. This insures that over time the gift of one
animal is multiplied many times over.

Heifer International has several ways for people to give to their cause, including the donation of individual animals in a friend or family member's name — a wonderful way to honor someone with an act of generosity. A more ambitious gifting is called an Ark, where 15 pairs of animals are sent where they will do the most good. These animals might include two trios of rabbits, two llamas, two beehives, two camels, two cows, two sheep, two goats, two flocks of geese, two ducks and two flocks of chicks, all paired male/female to share offspring in the future.

The EveryDay Angels Foundation has started an Ark fund to raise the necessary $5000 to raise, feed, and ship these 30 animals to families that need them. Come help us build an Ark...without having to pick up a hammer!

We have set up an online account through PayPal so that anyone with a credit card and an internet connection can help us buld an ark through the Heifer organization.

If you donate $30 or more to our Heifer Ark Fund, you can opt to receive this charming Angel Llama figurine as a thank you gift (while supplies last). This cute little guy is equally happy sitting on your desk or hanging from a tree and will be a reminder of how something as simple as livestock can effect powerful change in someone's life. Resin figurine is 2.25" tall.
